Inspiration

As a child, Roald Dahl was my favorite author. I “discovered” his books in third grade and I’m sure that is what inspired me to be a slightly absurd person.

Side Note: It is fascinating the assortment of definitions available online for the word absurd. They range from foolish to funny to unreasonable. I wonder if someone has ever tracked the evolution of the meaning of “absurd” to see how it changes with time.

Now I’ve lost my train of thought. I shall edit when it returns.
